Team Spotlight: Michael Parker

Meet Michael Parker, one of the driving forces behind the seamless delivery of Natural Green’s most ambitious installations.

As Project & Client Manager, Michael plays a pivotal role in transforming creative visions into living, breathing experiences. With a background rooted in high-end events and a lifelong passion for equestrianism, he brings a unique blend of logistical precision, aesthetic instinct and on-the-ground leadership to every project.

From Concept to Creation

Michael's day-to-day focus is managing projects from initial client brief through to flawless delivery. Whether he’s liaising directly with event organisers or collaborating with design agencies, Michael ensures each detail is planned and executed with care—from transport and logistics to design visuals and on-site coordination.

He describes his role as “taking ideas—sometimes vague, sometimes highly specific—and making them real.” Clients can expect a thoughtful and proactive partner who balances creativity with cost efficiency, always seeking the most sustainable and visually impactful solution.

Bringing Big Brands to Life

Among his standout work is Natural Green’s ongoing partnership with Cheltenham Racecourse, part of the Jockey Club, where Michael has led on seasonal and festival activations. He also manages delivery for a range of Jaguar Land Rover events via creative agency partners, including Goodwood Festival of Speed and Retailer of the Year.

Thanks to his extensive events background—including roles in Belgium and as an Operations Manager on the Longines Global Champions Tour in New York, Stockholm and London—Michael is skilled at navigating high-pressure environments with multiple moving parts.

More Than Decoration

What sets Michael apart is his understanding that planting installations are not just decorative—they’re functional too. Whether it’s screening unsightly areas, guiding customer flow, or injecting a sense of calm and connection through greenery, his designs are always purposeful. He works closely with in-house teams across carpentry, floristry and metalwork to reuse and upcycle wherever possible—ensuring sustainability is embedded throughout.

As Michael explains, “It’s hard to replicate greenery. It’s living, and that gives spaces a feeling no other material can. We aim to deliver beauty, functionality and a low-impact footprint all in one.”

Outside of Work

Away from the workshop, Michael is an enthusiastic sports fan and seasoned runner, currently training for a half marathon in Cheshire. Originally from Northern Ireland, he still enjoys returning home and catching up with family when he can. With a Level 5 British Showjumping Course Designer qualification—one of the highest levels in the UK—his equestrian experience continues to influence his eye for detail, structure and flow.

A Team Effort

Above all, Michael is keen to emphasise the collective effort behind every Natural Green project. “There’s a huge amount of collaboration involved across all departments—from planting to logistics. That’s what makes our work possible.”
