Team Spotlight: Libbie Fox

Meet Libbie Fox, a familiar face to many of our clients. Since joining Natural Green in 2023, Libbie has quickly become an integral part of the team. As Project Manager, she plays a vital role in ensuring every installation runs smoothly — from early planning and preparation through to delivery on site.

From Planning to Delivery

No two days are the same for Libbie. Her work spans everything from preparing proposals and budgets to managing logistics, liaising with clients, and making sure every project lives up to expectations. “It’s been really good for my confidence,” she reflects. “I’m not just behind a screen — I’m out on site, talking to clients, problem-solving, and seeing projects come to life.”

Libbie’s people skills, honed in previous customer-facing roles, have proven invaluable. Her background outside the events industry gave her a strong foundation in communication, organisation and client care — qualities that are essential in her current role.

Creative Collaboration

Although she doesn’t describe herself as “naturally artsy,” Libbie has grown her creative instincts since joining Natural Green. She credits the team environment for sparking new ideas and approaches. “Bouncing ideas off colleagues really helps. I’ve definitely become more creative the longer I’ve been here, just by seeing what we’ve achieved in the past and learning from that.”

Sustainability in Action

Sustainability is central to how Natural Green works, and Libbie sees this play out in practical ways every day. Plants are carefully looked after onsite so they can be reused at future events. “The smart planting we used at a prestigious car event is now heading to a golf course, where it will look amazing,” she explains. “It’s exciting to see planting being used again in new and creative ways.”

Advice for Clients

When it comes to green design whether faux or living, Libbie has one clear piece of advice for event organisers, designers and venues: start with purpose.

“Think about what you want to achieve by adding planting. Do you want to make a space feel welcoming and homely? Do you want bold, branded colour? Do you want a big ‘wow’ factor that catches people’s eye? Once you know the purpose, we can create something that really works for you.”

What She Loves About the Role

For Libbie, it’s the people and the projects that make the role so rewarding. “We’ve got such a supportive team, and we all help each other. It can be stressful at times, but it’s satisfying when everything comes together, and you know you’ve done a good job.”

And the projects themselves? They’re pretty special too. From high-profile sporting events to world-class golf events, Libbie loves being part of experiences that people recognise and remember. “It’s quite cool to be involved in events I’ve grown up going to,” she says. “My family and friends know them, so it feels personal as well as professional.”
