Natural Green Brings Aintree to Life for the Randox Grand National Festival 2026

From the moment racegoers arrived on site, planting and floral displays played a central role in shaping the visitor experience across the racecourse. Working closely with the Aintree team, we delivered extensive planting throughout the venue, from arrival points and key public areas to hospitality spaces, marquee interiors and the parade rings.

Creating the Backdrop for the Style Awards, Sponsored by Debenhams

One of the highlights of Ladies’ Day was supporting the Style Awards, which this year were bigger than ever, with three categories recognising Best Dressed, Best Suited and Best Hat.

Natural Green designed and installed three bespoke faux floral and foliage backdrops, each featuring branded logos and created to provide a striking setting for the finalists, judges and winners.

Positioned within the Style Awards area, the installations gave the competition a premium feel and created the perfect photo opportunity for competitors, media and guests throughout the day.

The awards were judged by Lisa Tan, Josie Peaches and Rachael Rhodes, whose eye for style and flair helped make the competition one of the most talked-about features of Ladies’ Day.

The backdrops were designed not only to look beautiful in person, but also to work hard on camera and across social media. In an event increasingly shaped by the desire to capture and share memorable moments, creating visually impactful spaces has never been more important.

Planting Across the Racecourse

Alongside the Style Awards installations, our team delivered planting across the wider racecourse and festival site.

This included:

Across the racecourse, the brief was to create an environment that felt elevated, stylish and in keeping with the prestige of the Randox Grand National Festival. By combining statement planting with more subtle greenery and floral details, we helped transform functional spaces into places where guests wanted to spend time.

Alongside this, we were proud to support the celebration of Randox’s 10th year as title sponsor through a feature planting installation at the main roundabout. Positioned at one of the busiest and most visible points on site, the roundabout installation provided an immediate sense of arrival and celebration.

More Than Plants

At Natural Green, we understand that planting is about far more than decoration. Used well, it shapes how people experience a place.

At Aintree, our work helped to:

The Randox Grand National Festival is one of the most iconic events in the sporting calendar and we are delighted to have played our part once again. We would like to thank the teams at Aintree Racecourse, The Jockey Club and all those involved for the opportunity to support this year’s event.
