Send your CV and covering letter to Sarah Atkinson, General Manager: Sarah.Atkinson@naturalgreencs.com
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Natural Green's warehouse, yard and storage facilities, ensuring that stock, equipment, vehicles and materials are effectively managed, maintained and available to support the successful delivery of client projects.
This is a hands-on supervisory role requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to lead and support colleagues to maintain high standards of efficiency, safety and organisation. A key part of the day to day role is loading, unloading, preparing and putting away hardware, plants, floral exhibits etc.
Whilst botanical knowledge or experience is not essential, the role involves handling perishable products, including cut flowers, plants and other living materials that are sensitive to temperature, weather conditions and handling. The successful candidate must recognise the importance of caring for these products, taking a proactive and practical approach to their storage, protection and maintenance. This includes ensuring plants are watered, protected from adverse weather and never left in conditions that could compromise their quality or lifespan.
The role requires someone who works at pace, thinks ahead, responds quickly to changing circumstances and takes personal responsibility for ensuring products are cared for and maintained to the highest standards.
A key priority will be establishing a goods in and goods out system and taking ownership of Natural Green's stock inventory management system, ensuring that it is successfully implemented, consistently used and embedded into everyday working practices across the business.
The Warehouse Supervisor will also have responsibility for the management and coordination of the company's vehicles, ensuring they are maintained, compliant and available to meet operational requirements.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, Installation Managers, Account Management team and other colleagues, the role will help improve operational efficiency, reduce unnecessary costs and ensure the business is properly prepared to deliver projects to the high standards expected by clients.
